In January 2024, Lab Automation Network partners convened at the Goldfuß Engineering GmbH technology center to establish a fully automated synthesis and purification workflow. The aim was to evaluate the connectivity of individual process modules — reaction preparation, synthesis, reaction monitoring, and purification — with a mobile cobot. The mobile cobot, uMobileLab, seamlessly integrates workstations, enabling continuous operation overnight and on weekends without operator presence.
